Future American Idol Winner Chris Sligh

Reality TV Magazine Reports that Chris might be the favorite to win Idol 6. A couple key pieces of the article read

"Before this season of American Idol started airing, Randy Jackson hinted in a media conference call that the eventual winner may be someone that auditioned in Birmingham, but maybe not from Birmingham. Randy Jackson also predicted to Entertainment Weekly that the winner would be “someone with curly hair.” Could Randy Jackson have been talking about Chris Sligh?

Paula Abdul also talked about a curly haired contestant to the NY Post. She described him as a guy resembling Penn Jillette. "

Chris, 28, hails from Greenville, South Carolina. Word on the street is that Chris is in a band called Half Past Forever. He is mostly a guitar player, but he plays various instruments including bass and keyboards. He is focused on music, and even has his own production company called BeatDown.

Tonight (January 30th), American Idol aired the initial episode from Birmingham, Alabama. During this episode we got the first glimpse of the soon to be Idol winner Chris Sly.

Chris has a unique look, and is often told he looks like a cross between Jack Black and Jack Osbourne.

Chris' first performance in front of the judges was of the Seal song : Kiss from a Rose

Oh and by the way, it is spelled Sligh, and no it is not his real name!
